Country HR Manager Jakarta Raya, Cikarang (Jawa Barat)
Responsibilities:
- Advise on the operation of industrial awards, policies and agreements
- Undertake negotiations on rates of pay and conditions of employment for employees and employers
- Develop and administer policies on different employee classifications, wage structures and related matters
- Maintain good relationships between employers and employees
- Examine and attempt to resolve industrial disputes and grievances in the workplace, e.g. an industrial relations officer may act as the management representative when discussions are being held with trade unions about the effects of technological change on the duties of employees in a manufacturing workshop
- Study and interpret relevant industrial legislation (the Indonesian Labour Laws and regulations which are formulated by parliament to control industrial practices in the workplace)
- Advise others on the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment and salary agreements
- Represent an industrial group as a representative before industrial tribunals
- Advices develop and negotiate enterprise-based agreements
- Represent company in industrial & consultative forums.
- Provide operations with clear guidelines & accurate policy interpretation in relation to HR matters.
- Reinforce cultural values throughout HR activities & interaction with operations.
- Coordinates & advises management of possible effect resulting from the transfer & promotion of employees.
- Working with operational management team & shopfloor safety committee link the groups & drive & embed a safe workplace culture in operations.
- Under the general direction of the group HR manager develop, deliver & evaluate training & development programmes to meet operational business needs. This will include corporate induction, management development & customer service programmes.
- Assist operation managers with performance management process.
- Establish & maintain systems & procedures which identify develop & retain group skills. This will include establishment & maintenance of the group high potential database.
- Act as employee advocate on sensitive/confidential issues.
- Act as management advocate to support & strengthen the management induction.
- Work with HR team on systems & process improvement to drive efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Male, 30-45years old
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, psychology, law or related field(Master’s degree is preferred) with min. 3 years extensive & successful experience in Human Resource Management
- Min. 8 yearsat the senior HR operations level with a reputable and Medium to Large manufacturing Company
- Incumbent must have a background and solid foundation in industrial relation also general affairs
- Should be a good team leader and capable of working independently
- Capable to manage high pressure working conditions due to the nature of work
- Must have a Friendly relationship with the Employees
- Great interpersonal, persuasive, hard worker, assertive and energetic
- Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
- Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and commonsense approach
- Excellent computer skill and English proficiency is a must (both oral and written)
- Drive for result & resourcefulness
- Deep knowledge with excellent practice in training, recruitment, payroll, & other HR operations related.
Must have past or current experience in working with labor unions
