We are an integrated services company to the Coal Bed Methane (CBM) sector, with the primary focus on Indonesia. Since then, PT Coal Gas Solutions has been established in Jakarta and now serves as the company’s operational headquarters.

 

Now, we are urgently seeking for suitable candidates to fulfill the position as attached qualification.

Driller
Jakarta Raya - Site (Rotational Basis)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation of the rig and is the team leader of the crew in charge of the drilling process.
• Responsibility for interpreting signals of the drilling well regarding gas and fluids under high pressure.
• Responsibility for managing correct counter measures during emergency situations.
• Responsible for managing when uncontrollable and unforeseen emergencies arise.
• Monitor gas levels coming from drilling hole.
• Monitor how much drilling mud is coming to the surface during drilling.
• When tripping, the driller is responsible for running the floor and working the rig
• To have completed induction and be competent to perform work to the level required
• To exercise discretion with the level of skill required to operate a drill rig
• To be responsible for the quality of his work subject to routine supervision
• To ensure that pre-starts are completed before using the machinery/equipment, perform or assist with preventative maintenance when required
• To be able to take directions from Rig Manager or Tool Pusher
• To be able to multitask and assist others when required
• To be able to communicate effectively with management and other employees
• To understand and be able to implement the CGS policies, procedures and standards

Requirements:

• Male, with minimum age of 30 years old
• Minimum senior high school or equivalent, higher education degree will be given preference.
• 10+ years experiences on a drilling rig in positions of Roustabout, Floorhand, Assistant Driller, etc.
• 5+years as a Driller, Cyber Rig preferred
• Must have valid Well Control or MIGAS Certificate.
• Other certificates (H2S, Fire Fighting, Offshore Survival, etc.) may be required by the Company or the customer.
• Able to speak English
• Computer Literate
• Willing to work at the field
• Have knowledge of basic math.
• Must good reasoning ability and common sense.
• Must remain calm in emergency situations to ensure safety of crew.
• Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself or others.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws, regulations and company’s safety policies.
