Our client is looking for a Cardiac Nurse Band 5. Salary is up to 26,000/27,000 mark dependent on experience and skills, based in Chertsey/ Surrey. The position is to demonstrate safe effective nursing practice which is researched based and in compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures and to act effectively and professionally as part of the multi-disciplinary team in the provision and delivery of patient care and also act at all times in accordance to the NMC's code of professional conduct.

Our client is UK's leading provider of diagnostic and imaging services. They have been operating exclusively in the UK, working predominantly within the NHS, but also serving the needs of private health care providers, for over 25 years.

This position requires skills ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, computer literacy with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail report and audit writing skills use of advanced clinical skills in emergency situations. Experience of health and safety issues and risk assessment.

Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, scrubbing for variety of cardiac procedures and IV drug administration desirable and experience of working within an acute clinical environment and knowledge of quality issues and clinical governance and pre and post nursing care in day ward environment required.

Personal requirements essential, to have flexibility to work the shifts required ability to remain calm under pressure, and effective interpersonal skills. Desirable proven diligence in CPD activity, flexibility to provide ad hoc cover and sickness, ability to participate in the implementation and development of nursing practice and ability to work under own initiative.

To be considered for this job you will need to be a Registered Nurse level 1 or equivalent (adaption Course), ENB 998 or Equivalent ENB 124 or Equivalent.
